Charming character-filled common areas made for a cozy stay.
Unfortunately, I encountered a few issues during my visit. The bathroom in my room felt cramped, and I experienced some trouble with the shower that required extra attention. the complex gravel parking lot posed challenges, particularly for my motorcycle, making it a bit dangerous to maneuver.

Staying for two nights while exploring the nearby Strathy Point Lighthouse was a wonderful decision. The view from the Small Twin Room was just stunning, with a beautiful landscape on display. What I appreciated the most was how accommodating the staff was, especially with my late arrival. they ensured I had a warm pizza waiting. it was a definite highlight and made for a relaxing stay after long days of exploring.

The cozy Small Twin Room offered a stunning view, making mornings delightful. Decor was charming, with a nostalgic vibe that added warmth. Staff had a welcoming attitude, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. Enjoyed delicious homemade pizzas for dinner, complemented by a good selection of local whiskies. Wi-Fi connections were frustratingly inconsistent and a bit slow. Parking area posed a challenge, especially with gravel that made it tricky for my motorcycle. a lovely spot with some areas needing fine-tuning.

the views are almost nice, but the wifi was an absolute joke, cutting out just when I really needed it. also, I was shocked there was no warm pizza waiting for me upon arrival! after all, a little welcome pampering would’ve been delightful. I would’ve given this place a better review, but alas, I just couldn’t.

The large double room featured a bath and a spacious separate shower unit, making it quite comfortable after a day on the road. The view from the room was stunning, allowing for a breathtaking landscape right from the window, which definitely added to the experience.
The decor had a beachside shabby chic vibe, but some areas felt more shabby than chic, with signs of wear. the bathrooms were on the smaller side and had odd configurations, which might not work for everyone. Some guests faced issues with cleanliness, especially in bathrooms, and several experienced problems with the Wi-Fi connectivity, which could be quite frustrating when needing to get work done. While the pizza was popular, other dinner options seemed overpriced and didn't quite meet expectations. Lastly, parking had its challenges, as it consisted of a gravel surface that could be slippery for motorcycles, making it a tricky endeavor to park without slipping.
